Andreas
This local Southern Humboldt favorite has been at the forefront of electronic music in Southern Humboldt since 2003. Having grown up in the Garberville area, Andreas studied in southern Germany from 1998-2002 where he learned the art of beat-matching, and started throwing weekly DJ parties for his fellow university students. He then went on to further hone his DJing abilities, and study production at the Manchester MIDI School in Manchester, England. Upon returning to his hometown in 2003, he began DJing locally, and throwing some of the first electronic parties in Southern Humboldt. Whether he’s playing some of his more well known Booty Breaks sets, or keeping it a bit dark and moody with his tech house/techno sets, his taste in music has always been impeccable. This has allowed him to open up for acts such as Freq Nasty and the Stanton Warriors, and also play regularly with local DJ collective Deep Groove Society as well as Burning Man stalwarts the Space Cowboys.
