Known as one of the most talented musicians in Northern California DJ Touch (Christopher Jonas Moore) has continued to provoke the scene with his innovative music and events. DJ Touch can be easily recognized for his drive and passion behind the turntables. His attentiveness and connection to the crowd plus focus on smooth programming is definitely a signature to his performances. With his outstanding mixing skills he brings to the atmosphere what can only be described as a combination of sonically driven bass lines and articulate melodies that emotionally grabs his audience. DJ Touch has been said to be known for his signature sound and ability to draw people to the dance floor. A Vinyl Collector since the age of 5 and influenced by every music imaginable, DJ Touch has shown his ability to escape genre labeling, playing a wide range of atmosphere's and styles suitable for most any occasion.

Christopher has been a participant and promoter of the Underground Electronic Dance Music Scene on the West Coast since the "Rave" scene in the early ’90s. He started DJing when he moved to Humboldt County in the Summer of 1999. It was very apparent right away that this was to be no short lived hobby. Soon after he partnered with like minded folks, who together made it their purpose and goal to lift, from the ground up, the EDM Scene in Humboldt, California. Dj Touch has given his heart, soul and his experiential knowledge to help the Norcal dance community evolve and grow what is now an internationally recognized EDM scene.
In the year 2000 DJ Touch banded together with a group of like-minded individuals, who were also passionate about EDM and formed the well known group The Deep Groove Society. With their common goals and interests intact Deep Groove Society has become a multidimensional community of music lovers. Deep Groove Society is a collective of people dedicated to the love of the music and the propagation of that love. They are, in the deepest sense, a community. Their common goal is to come together to share the gifts that we have all been blessed with, while providing environments laced with love, respect, rhythm, vision and higher forms of consciousness. For the duration of the last 13 years they have produced and promoted shows all over Northern California including their very popular Sunday Night Club Dance Party, “Sundaze” at the Jambalaya Club in Arcata, California and popular outdoor festivals such as “FireFall” and “SpringSoul”.
